How to use a scannerScan - 1 x black and white line image using line art mode. Size of image: 5cm x5cm square. Scan this image 3 times at 3 different resolutions .

Scan another image - 1 x greyscale image using greyscale mode. Size of 

image: 5cm x 5cm square. Scan this image 3 times at 3 different resolutions.

1.      1 x serviette scanned as line art mode 1200dpi bitmap image (black and white). Draw a black pen drawing on a serviette / paper napkin / kitchen towel. Size of image: 5cm x 5cm square. Save as a JPEG.

1.      Evaluate the differences, discuss quality and file size between each of the above images, put in and save as a Word document.

The lower resolution of images are of poorer  quality and smaller in file sizes and the higher in resolution the quality of images is clearer and the file sizes are much larger.
